Commercial Communications Council

The Commercial Communications Council is the industry association for advertising and communication agencies. It is committed to encouraging, recognising and rewarding excellence, and runs a series of industry awards' schemes, including the NZ Effie Awards.

These awards recognise phenomenally successful campaigns, judged on the basis of quantified objectives, clearly demonstrable evidence that the advertising and marketing objectives were achieved, scale of achievement, difficulty of the task and evidence of innovation in strategy, media and creative executions.

The Commercial Communications Council works on behalf of members for the protection of a self-regulatory environment for advertising and offers them a range of services, benefits and incentives to help manage their agencies more effectively and serve their clients better, including:

• Information via newsletters and targeted communications
• Library and reference resources
• Networking opportunities
