Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland

IAPI is the representative body for Irish advertising agencies. Its primary role is to promote the highest professional and creative standards in the production of advertising, across all media. IAPI plays a key role in the Irish advertising industry, which is reflected in its range of activities.

These include the biennial IAPI ADFX Awards (formerly known as the Advertising Effectiveness awards), which honour the most effective advertising campaigns that appeared in both the Irish and international markets. The ADFX Awards are based on proven return on investment and promote the role of advertising as an effective and efficient use in the marketing process. The awards are now highly prized in the industry as the ultimate acknowledgement of an agency's contribution to its client's commercial success.

IAPI is comprised of almost 60 member companies, accounting for over 95% of advertising agency expenditure in the country. Once an agency joins IAPI, every member of staff and the agency itself has access to the services and benefits of IAPI. Full details are available at www.iapi.ie.
