Jeep, the auto marque, believes that music can help magnify the impact of its marketing spend in powerful ways.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has used the magic of music in powerful – and unexpected – ways.

“The only magic I practice is to stretch small budgets into the illusion of big marketing,” Olivier Francois, FCA’s CMO, explained at the Association of National Advertisers’ (ANA) 2019 Masters of Marketing Conference.

“Music has the power to move the needle,” Francois continued. “Apparently, it delivers more than just love for the bread. It also delivers new Jeeps to driveways.”

And partnerships with NBC’s “Songland” and the actor Jeremy Renner offered support for this proposition in practice.
