An overview of second-screening in Canada between 2012-2017.

In 2017, 75% of Canadian internet users (aged 16-64) admitted to using other devices - or second screening - while watching TV, according to data from GlobalWebIndex. For second screeners, the mobile phone was the most popular alternate device, preferred by 50%. The laptop PC was next on 37%, followed by the tablet (20%), the desktop PC (13%) and the e-Reader on just 3%.
