Growth in online retail traffic is split across Europe, according to the latest data from Comscore. Germany (+17%) and the UK (+14%) both saw double-digit growth in retail website and app visits between the week of January 13 and of March 23. However, Italy rose just 3% while Spain recorded a one-fifth drop (-18%).
Use of social media websites and apps shows more consistent growth, with Spain up by 51%. France (+45%) and the UK (+39%) follow, while Italy (+36%) and Germany (+32%) also saw strong growth.
