Introduction

This paper is based on results from the latest wave of the Roper Reports Worldwide Study. This consumer trends study is conducted annually by RoperASW in over 30 countries around the world. Results for the 2002 wave conducted in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela were released last month.

RoperASW has been conducting consumer trends research in Latin America since 1994. This paper will look at relevant trends that can shed light on the future of Latin America as a single market.
