Our story

In 1983, David Ogilvy lamented that no other profession gets by on such a small corpus of knowledge as advertising. Since 1985, WARC has met that challenge.

The world has changed but our purpose has not. We put evidence at the heart of every marketing decision to help marketers navigate any challenge with confidence.

In 2018 WARC became part of Ascential, a specialist information, data and analytics company that helps the world’s most ambitious businesses win in the digital economy.

Today we operate out of the UK, US, Singapore and China to service a community of over 75,000 marketers in more than 1,200 companies in 100+ markets.
