International Organization for Migration: Illusions may be deceiving – look again

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) launched its "Illusions may be deceiving – look again" campaign in Ukraine to draw the attention of Ukrainians to the risks of exploitation.

Challenge:

The full-scale war makes society extremely vulnerable to exploitation. People become accustomed to living with danger and risks, compelled to think fast. As a result, the likelihood of ignoring potential threats from a fraudster increases.

According to IOM estimates for 2022, 85% of the entire population of Ukraine was affected by the full-scale war. Not surprisingly, every second person in Ukraine is willing to consider at least one risky proposition that could lead to a situation of human trafficking, exploitation, or violence.
