At least half of shopping apps run retargeting campaigns, according to the latest data from analytics and attribution platform AppsFlyer. Shopping and food & drink apps have the highest levels of retargeting, with gaming apps using this approach far less.
Retargeting is most common in Asia Pacific – three-quarters (72%) of shopping apps ran them in January and February 2020, an increase from 68% in 2019.
