Consumers are twice as likely to delay purchases until the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is completely over, according to research from GlobalWebIndex. In a survey of 17 markets at the beginning of April, 44% of consumers said they will delay purchasing until the outbreak is over in their country or globally. This compares to 22% who will make delayed purchases when the outbreak begins to decrease.
