Disney+ poses a significant challenge to the subscription video-on-demand market, according to the latest research from AudienceProject. In a survey of over 6,000 internet users across six European nations and the US in Q4 2019, 30% said they may subscribe.
Across all seven markets, at least one-fifth of respondents are considering a subscription. Interest is highest in the US, at 43%. This shows a high demand even before the service has launched – it's currently only available in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands.
