Novartis, a pharmaceutical company, designed its new Pavillon building, located in Basel, Switzerland, as a communications channel, integrating science and community engagement to build trust between the general public and the scientific community and encourage visitors.

Summary

The Novartis Pavilion in Basel opened to the public in April 2022. The learning, event and exhibition space has quickly become a key tourist attraction located on the Rhine, where three countries meet - Germany, France and Switzerland. Communication, measurement and collaboration were key components to the objectives, design and implementation leading to the launch of the Pavillon.
