The Gunn Report for Media 2011 combines the winners’ lists from all of the world’s most important award contests to establish annual worldwide "league tables" for the communications industry.
  • In 2011 a record 2895 pieces of work from 67 countries were submitted for evaluation by the Media Jury at Cannes – an increase of 34% over 2010 to 2895.
  • There were 222 winners on the shortlist, 83 Media Lion winners (14 winning Gold, 31 Silver and 38 Bronze Lions) - an increase of 73% over 2010 - and one Grand Prix winner.
  • An increasing number of media agencies are starting to win local or European Effies, the awards that are most concerned with the balance between creativity and effectiveness....
