Video streaming company Roku saw its advertising revenue double in the first three months of 2021, according to the latest company reports.
Advertising revenue for the company, which includes some non-advertising-related income, reached $467m in Q1 2021, up 101% year-on-year. This is the quickest rate of growth in three years.
The company adds that its monetised video ad impressions more than doubled from the previous year in Q1 2021, with TV streaming ad impressions delivered through the company's OneView ad platform nearly tripling year-on-year.
