A year after Grow to Know won Silver and was named BBC Breakfast's feature garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, the not-for-profit was given almost no space to exhibit in 2023. This sign-of-the-times affront to inclusion made us even more hungry to stand out. Devising a strategy of (royal) disruption over permission, we rocked the very ground beneath the establishment's feet, drawing attention to inner-city green space inequality.
