With a wave of environmental consciousness sweeping the country, India finds herself embracing electric vehicle (EV) adoption at a rapid rate. The number of EVs on Indian roads currently stands at approximately 1,392,265 vehicles – a whopping triple increase from last year. Various factors are responsible for this increase, including a growing awareness of the climate crisis, rising prices of fossil fuels and government initiatives that could lead to more viable financing options when buying EVs.
