According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks perceptions toward brands on a daily basis, webuyanycar.com registered the biggest increase in Advertising Awareness for March 2024 of all brands YouGov tracks in the UK.

The car buying service saw an uplift of five percentage points throughout the month, earning it the title of Advertiser of the Month.

Earlier in the month, webuyanycar.com launched a series of advertisements highlighting the unique features of a hassle-free car sale.

Nationwide is the brand with the second-highest uptick in Ad Awareness. The financial institution’s Ad Awareness score increased from 18.2% on February 26 to 23.2% on March 9 (+5 percentage points). This surge in awareness may be attributed to the launch of the ‘In your best interest’ ad, which highlights its Savingswatch feature.

Rounding out the top three brands with the biggest uplift in Ad Awareness in the UK this March is Ginsters. The pasties brand saw a lift of 4.8 percentage points, which may be associated with Ginsters rerunning its ‘Taste the Effort’ campaign after the October 2023 launch.

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of British adults aged 18+ between February 26 and March 25, 2024. Learn more about BrandIndex.
